What is Isoprene Rubber (IR)?

Isoprene Rubber (IR) is a synthetic isoprene polymer. It possesses key traits of natural rubber such as good mechanical properties and hysteresis, along with superior features such as good flow, high purity, excellent clarity, low gel content, no natural rubber proteins, and no nitrosamines.

Uses of Isoprene Rubber (IR)

Isoprene Rubber (IR) is used in the manufacture of rubber bands, cut thread, baby bottle nipples, extruded hose, tyres, motor mounts, shock absorber bushings, pipe gaskets, footwear, sponge, sporting goods, and many other molded and mechanical goods. Additionally, liquid Isoprene Rubber (IR) can act as a reactive plasticizer.
