What are anti-tack agents?
The surface of films made from rubber, especially natural rubber, have tendency to stick to each other due to its naturally high surface tack. This trait of rubber can result in problems while storing and transporting latex products. Anti-tack agents are materials designed to eliminate the self-adhesive quality of rubber products and are applied to products to form a thin protective anti-tacky layer on its surface.
Uses of anti-tack agents
The anti-tack agents are used for preventing the uncured rubber compound from sticking together while storage and transportation.
