What are peptizers?

During mastication, peptizers are used to accelerate the cutting of the molecular chains while performing compromise liquidation and cutting the molecular chains of the molecular cohesion with mechanical shearing force on the raw rubber. Peptizers also promote plasticization and reduce the mastication operation time by lowering the viscosity of the rubber.

Uses of peptizers

Peptisers promote reduction of polymer molecular weight, thereby increasing the efficiency of rubber mastication. The resulting reduced viscosity and nerve translate to improved processability of the polymer and of the compounds mixed along with it.
