Curing Systems - INTERCURE® Range and their uses

INTERCURE® 1
INTERCURE® 1 is a blocked diamine cross-linking agent used in Fluorocarbon (FKM), Polyacrilic (ACM), Ethylene-Acrylic (EAM) and Epichlorohydrin (ECO) elastomers.
It is needed when applications require F.D.A. approval. It can also be used with additional accelerators to provide an optimum balance of properties in the above elastomers.

INTERCURE® 1-DF
INTERCURE® 1-DF is a blocked diamine cross-linking agent containing 2% of white paraffin oil. It is used in Fluorocarbon (FKM), Polyacrilic (ACM), Ethylene-Acrylic (EAM) and Epichlorohydrin (ECO) elastomers.
It is needed when applications require F.D.A. approval. It can also be used with additional accelerators to provide an optimum balance of properties in the above elastomers.

INTERCURE® 2
INTERCURE® 2 is a phosphonium salt used as accelerator for Fluoroelastomers (FKM); adhesion promoter of Fluoroelastomers (FKM) to a variety of other elastomers; curative for Polyacrylate polymers (ACM) for which it increases the compound shelf life, improves compression set, and reduces the mold fouling.

INTERCURE® 3
INTERCURE® 3 is a blocked diamine cross-linking agent used for a very safe processing of Fluorocarbon (FKM), Polyacrilic (ACM), Ethylene-Acrylic (EAM) and Epichlorohydrin (CO-ECO) elastomers. It may be used in combination with INTERCURE® 1.

INTERCURE® 4
INTERCURE® 4 is an alicyclic amine salt used as a curing agent mainly for Fluoroelastomers (FKM). For its safety in processing, it can be positioned between INTERCURE®1 and INTERCURE® 3.
Its cross-linking efficiency provides FKM compounds with physical properties similar to those obtainable with INTERCURE® 1. As with INTERCURE®1, INTERCURE® 4 is needed when applications require F.D.A. approval. While levels from 1.8 to 2.2 p.h.r. of INTERCURE® 4 meet a wide range of needs, a 2 p.h.r. level provides an optimum balance of safe processing, cure rate and physical properties.

INTERCURE® 18
INTERCURE® 18 is a cationic surfactant used as accelerator for Polyacrilic (ACM) elastomers.
